In the south west landscapes of Western Australia, Steam Lodge began as the vision of siblings James and Olivia Lodge. Driven by a shared passion for wellness and quality craftsmanship. Their journey began with a simple belief—that well-designed, custom wellness spaces can transform daily routines and enhance recovery.

The Beginning
James, a skilled carpenter, faced a major setback after a work-related injury led to surgery and a long recovery. Searching for relief, he discovered the power of saunas—not just for pain management but for overall wellness. Determined to build his own, he quickly realised there was nothing on the market that met his standards — Australian-made, built for durability, and designed with real quality in mind. So, he set out to create it himself.
His sister Olivia was soon introduced to the benefits of saunas and ice baths, and together, they saw the impact these practices had on both body and mind. What started as a personal journey quickly turned into a shared vision—Steam Lodge.
