Eagle Bay Private Sauna

Set in the hills above one of the South West’s most iconic stretches of coastline, this custom build captures the essence of recovery, design, and place.

The brief was simple: create a dedicated wellness space that felt calm, grounded, and naturally connected to its surroundings. The result is a recovery zone that balances function, flow, and thoughtful detail.

The build includes a cedar-lined sauna, ice bath, copper outdoor shower, recycled timber deck, and a custom privacy screen—all constructed on-site to suit the unique contours of the block. With limited site access, each element was carefully considered and built to minimise impact on the natural landscape.

Material choices were key—cedar and recycled timber bring warmth and texture, while framing views that maintain a strong connection to the bay. The outcome is a space that feels immersive, restorative, and distinctly West Australian.
