The Original Build

The first Steam Lodge sauna wasn’t built for a client—it was built for us. When we set out to create our own sauna, we quickly realised that nothing on the market met our standards. We wanted something crafted for durability, designed for performance, and built right here in Australia—but we couldn’t find it. So, we built it ourselves.

This first unit, installed at our home, became the foundation of everything we stand for today. Featuring hand-selected materials, thoughtful design, and a focus on both function and aesthetics, it was more than just a sauna—it was proof that wellness spaces could be built better.

From this first build, Steam Lodge was born. Every project since has carried the same commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and creating spaces that truly enhance the way people live and recover.
